    Medical and Regulatory Writing

  • Approximately 25 years’ experience in medical writing
  • Specialises in Modules 2.5 and 2.7 of the CTD and Clinical Study Reports
  • Wide range of therapeutic areas
  • Happy to work independently or as part of a team

    After studying for her degree in biochemistry and a DPhil in neuropharmacology at Oxford University, Julie worked in medical publishing for the Medicine Group. She then moved to Wyeth Research (UK), being employed as a Medical Writer. There then followed a period of 16 years as a freelance writer, during which time she worked with Contract Research Organisations, pharmaceutical companies, publishers and academic departments. In 2003, she joined Origin Pharmaceutical Services (now Constella Group Ltd) as Head of Medical Writing, and set up, trained and ran a small team of UK-based medical writers. Julie returned to a freelance status in late 2007.

    Julie has considerable experience in many areas of medical writing, particularly Modules 2.5 and 2.7, Clinical Study Reports, Integrated Summaries of Efficacy and Safety, manuscripts, and literature reviews.
