Redefining Medical Education in the Teenies.
I've booked the University Museum in Oxford for a day's meeting of the wise and the good on 30 September when we will hear from leading speakers about the changing nature of our business and the future challenges we face. More details to come, but meantime save the date! The meeting will be held from 10.00-16.00 and all attendees will have the added bonus of a free invitation to join the 2010 PharmaTimes Great Oxford Debate in the evening, held in the world famous Union debating chamber.
This year’s Great Oxford Debate is This House Believes that Medicines deliver a net saving to the Nation and features Professor Sir Michael Rawlins, Chairman, NICE, Dr. Martin Mackay, President of Global Research, Pfizer, Sir Alasdair Breckenridge, Chairman of the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency, Lord Philip Hunt, OBE, Minister of state, Department of Energy and Climate Change, Professor Nick Bosanquet, Professor of Health Policy, Imperial College, London and Professor Ken Patterson, Chairman, Scottish Medicines Consortium.
