    Summary

I have over 25 years' experience in the strategic medical communications business (medical education, advertising and PR) at a country, international and global level.

I worked up to Client Services Director at agencies before going freelance in 2008. I work with med. comms. agencies and also do some projects direct with pharma clients. I work at home but am always happy to work with agency teams and visit offices when required. I can travel to congresses etc.

I copyright, I can project manage tactics as required and I can be client-facing. I also assist some agencies with business development.

I thrive under pressure and quickly integrate into teams as required.

    Experience

I have both delivery and project management experience of the numerous tactics which typically form part of a communications campaign. These include:

    * Strategic programme development at an international/global level * Opinion Leader advocacy programmes (including skills training) * Advisory Board Meetings (including facilitation) * Strategic Publication Planning*Course and Conference development and organisation * Therapy area training packages for industry personnel, physicians and patients * Launch support materials - sales aids, leave pieces, slide kits, patient leaflets etc. * Post-launch marketing * Scientific manuscripts * Press releases, media packs, media activities, journalist interviews, filming * Consumer materials * Corporate communications * Affiliate motivation * Salesforce training * Congress activities and highlights * Stand-alone meetings * New media (internet site development, intranets, webcasts, cyberconferences, websites, 3D animation, interactive training, e-learning modules, videos and storyboards, i-pad materials) * Assistance with strategic business development *

    Therapy areas

I have prior experience in most disease therapy areas. I can quickly assimilate data and become competent in new areas.
