    Profile

  • Over 12 years experience of medical writing and editing within the pharmaceutical industry (GlaxoSmithKline, Boehringer Ingelheim, latterly with Janssen-Cilag as Medical Writer & Publications Manager UK & RoI), a medical communications company, and been self-employed for about 5 years
  • Worked alongside many key opinion leaders and consultants in Europe and the US; covered conferences and advisory boards. Clients are mainly from within major pharmaceutical companies, medical communications agencies, and publication houses, although I have also worked for individuals
  • Experience also as a part-time Managing Editor on three journals, so gained a view from 'the other side' of publishing, with insight in to what editors and reviewers are specifically looking for in a publication
  • Experience of interim management, providing short-term ‘hands-on’ medical writing, editing, and communications to the pharmaceutical industry and publishers
  • Conscientious about all work undertaken, providing clients with a high standard of service and quality of work, with adherence to timelines
  • Qualifications: PhD, BSc (Hons), MI Biol; Member of EMWA, EASE, CSE.
