LUNCHTIME CAREERS EVENT, OXFORD
10 January 2011, Medical Sciences Teaching Sciences, Centre (MSTC), Oxford University
This is now established as an annual Medical Writing Careers Session, hosted by Oxford University but open to post-graduate students and post-docs from any academic institutions. Once again we will provide the opportunity to meet with a number medical writing and communications professionals for a highly engaging session which presents medical writing as an attractive career option.
Attendance at the event is free of charge. More details of the programme will be provided soon, but it will follow a similar format to the previous event in January 2010.

CAREERS INSIGHT WORKSHOP, OXFORD
23-24 May 2011, Oxford
This is now established as an annual intensive workshop for delegates with a genuine interest in joining the MedComms industry. A superb line up of speakers talk about about the pharmaceutical industry, the role of MedComms agencies and the specifics about working as a medical writer and some of the activities they would expect to undertake. We highlight related writing roles as well as other roles within the agencies such as Account Management.
Attendance at the event is free of charge. More details of the programme will be provided soon, but it will follow a similar format to the previous event in May 2010.
